Can I Really Put Edible Ink Cartridges In My Printer?

Can I Really Put Edible Ink Cartridges In My Printer?

Yes! Printing edible images is just like printing a normal document, however there are a few key things you need first - Edible Ink Cartridges and Edible Sheet Paper.

How to use your edible ink cartridges:

Step 1 Start by changing out your regular printer ink cartridges for the edible kind

Step 2 Place the edible sheet paper in the paper tray of your printer

Step 3 Print your image and let it dry for at least 6-12 minutes

Step 4 When dry, remove the plastic backing and transfer the image to your cake

Step 5 Gently pat down the image to smooth it out and avoid air bubbles

Step 6 Take a photo of your beautifully decorated cake and share it with us on Instagram @costumebox!

Tip: If you have a hard time removing the backing cover, place the printed edible image in the freezer for 30 minutes (this will make peeling away the plastic without ruining the image much easier)
