Cat Face Paint: Your Step-by-Step Guide
1. Using a sponge and the white paint, paint a semi-circle above the lips.
2. With your first chosen colour, using a sponge or brush apply it to the bottom part of face.
3. Then with your second chosen colour apply it to the upper part of the face with the child’s eyes closed, using the sponge to blend smoothly. Or just apply the one colour!
4. Use a baby wipe to clean up the edges if you need to, but they don’t need to be perfect.
5. Create a lighter shade of pink by mixing white and pink, paint the inner ears light pink and if you like, paint the bottom lip the same colour.
6. With a small brush and black paint outline the ears and the tuffs of fur in between the ears, the cheeks and around the white upper mouth.
7. Continuing with black paint, draw the kitten nose and line from mid-nose to the mouth and paint the top lip black.
8. Details! Using the black paint, add in the cat eyebrows, lashes, and stripes.
9. Add in some kitten freckles under the eyes and above the lips.
10. When dry, using a small brush and white paint, add in the whiskers.
