Koala Face Paint
Ā
1. Start by mixing white paint with a touch of black (always start with more white than black, its easier to add in more black when needed) to get your Koala grey paint.
Ā
2. Using a face sponge or brush, paint the base shape on the face and wait to dry.
Ā
3. Clean up the edges with a baby wipe to get the shape if needed, but it doesnāt need to be perfect.
Ā
4. Using a sponge and white paint, paint above the mouth.
Ā
5. Using the same sponge go in with the pink paint for the inner ears in a semi-circle shape.
Ā
6. Optional: Paint the bottom lip pink.
Ā
7. With a small brush use black paint for an egg-shaped koala nose. Start on the bottom of the nose and reach up to the eyes for that distinct Koala nose!
Ā
8. Then with the same brush, add a thin line between the middle of the nose and the tip of the lip, and paint the top lip black.
Ā
9. Details! With a smaller brush, paint the white tuffs at the edge of the cheeks, in & between the ears for extra cuteness!
Ā
10. Following the lines of the lips, paint two small lines in an upwards motion.
Ā
11. Optional: add lashes to the edge of the eye sockets (not too close to the eyes)
Ā
12. Optional: add a touch of white to the nose for a 3D touch and any strokes to the face where it needs more dimension.
Ā
All looks created using our Monotint Book Week Liquid Face and Body Paint Pack of 6.
