Dirndl: What does Dirndl mean?
A Dirndl is the traditional folk dress of Bavarian Germany worn as part of the Oktoberfest celebration. A Dirndl skirt can come in a number of different colours ranging from red, blue and green, to pink. The way a Dirndl is tied distinguishes your relationship status, whether the sash is tied to the left side, the right side, the front, or the back!
