The jester was said to be a symbolic twin of the king; a special case who had been touched with a childlike madness, a gift, or perhaps a curse!

An elaborate, traditional style court jesters mask (modernised to half face);

This exquisite red jester half face mask in the traditional venetian style is really beautiful. Vivid red velour-like material with fine gold/multi-coloured brocade style trim and 'pearls'. Complete with 5 'liliripes' finished with a jingle bell. Tiny gold 'tears' at the corners of the eyes and 'gold/pearl' medallion at the centre.

These masks have a very clever headband mechanism that makes them very easy, light and comfortable to wear. The headband can be adjusted for the right fit. You can talk, eat & drink while staying in character all night long!
